My Sweet Boy

I told myself I wouldn't flood my blog with pictures of my awesome son, but I just couldn't resist with these!! Yesterday was that kind of day where we had nothing planned so I created a little in-home studio and had some fun with Brody. This first picture is extra special to me because the guitar belonged to my grandpa who I unfortunately never got to meet, as he passed away 2 days before I was born. I love the moments when Jon plays this guitar for Brody & I can't wait for the day when he learns his first chords on this guitar!

Braylie Turns One

Braylie sure gave me a run for my money & not even my craziest of tricks or loud noises could make her smile big for me, but either way she has such a cute & sweet little face! She is about to celebrate her 1st birthday and here are a few photos from our session. 

Stephanie & Alex

Stephanie is one of my very good friends from college and she and her husband [Alex] just came down to visit from Seattle. They willingly let me introduce them to the AZ summer heat by taking them out for a little photo fun after just celebrating their 1st wedding anniversary :) It was so good to spend time with Steph and to see her so happy & in love!

Kennadee Turns 2

I had the opportunity to take pictures of this cute little girl and as you can see, she made it a lot of fun! She has such a funny personality and was cracking me up with her squirt bottle & how much she was enjoying wetting herself down--can't blame her though when it was 110 degrees for our outdoor photo shoot!

Michelle Marie

Michelle and I have been friends since we were in early elementary school and over the years all we have done is laugh hysterically & have tons of fun together. Michelle was the first person I could think of to take out and snap pictures of-- she is absolutely beautiful, very photogenic, so fun to be with, & not to mention she can sing like no one's business! I love this girl and am very thankful for our friendship.

My Two Best Guys

Jon & Brody's favorite way to spend their time together is playing guitar in our music room- Jon starts playing on his electric guitar and Brody starts dancing and rocking back and forth! :) Like father, like son-- Brody already has such a natural feel for music and even now claps his hands or moves his body to the beat. And that couldn't be more perfect as he has my grandpa's old guitar to start learning and playing on once he gets older.

Fierce Five

No, I'm not going crazy. I know there are only 4 kids in this picture but I got a text picture message yesterday showing me that I'm going to be an aunt for the 5th time!!! It's crazy & hard to believe but I knew there would be just one more to add to the clan and that will then make them the 'fierce five' of our family! :)

Blue Eyed Girls

Little miss Layla is #2 of my beautiful nieces and she is the comic relief of the family! She is the perfect combination of a girly girl and a tom boy and even when we don't she always tells me "look we match today!" :) Like all of them, she is such a sweet big cousin to Brody and I love her to pieces!

Ali Grace is another blue eyed beauty who has such a funny personality. She and Brody are only 5 weeks apart and I can't wait to see their close cousin bond develop.

A Cowboy & A Princess

Cohen & Ella- my handsome nephew and one of my 3 beautiful nieces! Since the day these two were born I have been sticking my camera in front of their adorable faces and here again they dressed up and posed for some more pictures... but of course I did a little bribing with a shopping trip to Target! :)
